Never launching

It's not just about the launch, it's about the process.

In my industry, ideas have a rough ride. Products don’t launch, great ideas are scrapped, and plans are abandoned. I’d say it happens 90% of the time. It’s rare and lucky that your work breaks through to the masses and makes a big difference.

I mostly build prototypes for a living, and most get ditched or abandoned at some point. Do I care if my idea doesn’t see the light of day? Not one bit. It doesn't even cross my mind. That’s not why I do it.

I get a lot out of engaging my brain in difficult problems. The act of solving problems is what I enjoy the most, and for this - the process is a reward.
